Company history
In the early 90’s Stefan Pierer and his Cross Industries company took over KTM and set about not only resurrecting the Austrian brand that began in 1953, but taking it to new levels of success.
The current PIERER Mobility Group is Europe’s leading manufacturer of “powered two-wheelers” (PTW). In addition to powered two-wheelers equipped with combustion engines or innovative electric drives, the product portfolio also includes e-bikes.
The group’s major holdings include KTM AG in Mattighofen, KISKA GmbH and KTM E-Technologies GmbH in Anif near Salzburg, KTM Innovation GmbH in Wels, Avocodo GmbH in Linz and PIERER E-Bikes GmbH in Munderfing and the participation in Europe’s largest design company of KISKA GmbH in Anif near Salzburg.
