Further market share gains in the important markets USA, Australia and Europe - Increased global brand presence through the corporate brand KTM after the sensational successes in MotoGPTM In the first six months of the current financial year, the PIERER Mobility Group outperformed the overall market (-7.4%) in the most important motorcycle markets (> 120 cc) with an increase in registrations of 1.4% and was thus able to increase its market share by one percentage point to 11.8%. Due to the modified mobility behavior, the two-wheeler retail trade is experiencing a boom, which is reflected in double-digit growth rates in registrations in the motorcycle as well as the e-bicycle segment. After Brad Binder's historic first victory in Brno, Miguel Oliveira and Pol Espargaró also take the first and third place in MotoGPTM for the Austrian manufacturer two weeks later in Spielberg. These unbelievable successes in the premier class of motorcycling are a milestone in the history of KTM and lead to a further increase of the global brand presence. The PIERER Mobility Group is considered as a pioneer in electromobility for two-wheelers and has been a major driving developer in this area for a long time. Under the direction of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, the group is currently working with partners from industry and science on an innovative e-mobiliy concept (EMotion) for energy-efficient, comfortable electric two-wheelers in the category L. These electrically powered two-wheelers are specially developed for the age groups 16-18 and 50+ and are intended to offer users of conventional vehicles a useful and environmentally friendly alternative with a completely new mobility experience for the everyday individual transport. Early 100% takeover of GASGAS In July 2020, PIERER Mobility Group takes over 100% of the shares in GASGAS Motorcycles GmbH ahead of time, positioning GASGAS as the third group brand in the off-road motorcycle sector for ambitious beginners and as the global market leader in trials. Furthermore, GASGAS complements its product portfolio with a sporty range in the high-end e-mountain bike sector. Key figures for H1 2020 for the PIERER Mobility Group (consolidated)
